I do like it but I think I'd also turn down the cutoff on the bass, the wide-open filter reminds me of old g-funk, digital underground etc. prob just a matter of taste but to me that sound lands a bit more on the "dated" side than on the "classic" side

You've really changed how I'm going to approach loops from now on. Forget saving up all the free packs, just play some chords and mess with them. As you mentioned the bass synth really tied it all together. This is a JW beat for sure.
